Hair has always been a battle for me, and just recently I decided to cut it short, back to how it used to be.
Over the past couple years, I have been trying to challenge my Cerebral Palsy to see how long my hair can go. As many of you know, I have Cerebral Palsy, and this varies for every person that has CP. I’ve always struggled with hair along with many other things, and this has been because of my cp. We’ve had adapted and change how we do things because of our disability. For me this is normal, yes, it’s a pain, that’s life, but I just adapt.
If you, or you know someone who is struggling with hair, some of these tips might help:
- Scrunchies rather than hair ties – Yes, I rarely wore scrunchies as I wore my workout clothes for most of the time, but I have found scrunchies easier to use as they are bigger than hair ties.
- Hair turban towels – Rather than drying my own hair when I ever washed it I always use one of these towels afterwards to dry my hair. For me, it’s just easier, and it doesn’t take up much of your time with drying.
- Hair dryer – If you don’t like the hair turban towels then a hair dryer is always good.
- Detangler – This was amazing for me, as someone that has difficulty with brushing my hair, using detangler made it easier for me to brush my hair after I’ve washed it. Click here – this is the one that I’ve used.
